Sex Pistols - Huddersfield 1977. Lossy Audio Bootlegs. Sex Pistols - 1977 - Live in Trondheim.

The Sex Pistols (Sid Vicious left, Steve Jones centre, and Johnny Rotten right) performing in Trondheim, Norway, July 1977. In February 1977, word leaked out that Matlock was leaving the Sex Pistols. On 28 February, McLaren sent a telegram to the NME confirming the split. There is one live cut, from the band's final concert in San Francisco Four Top Ten singles were culled from the Swindle recordings, one more than had appeared on Never Mind the Bollocks. The 1978 "No One Is Innocent"/"My Way" was followed in 1979 by Vicious's cover of "Something Else" (number three, and the biggest-selling single ever under the Sex Pistols name); Jones singing an original, "Silly Thing" (number six); and Vicious's second.

The Sex Pistols one and only true studio album. The legendary ‘Never Mind the Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols’. Sex Pistols Number 1. Now considered one of the greatest albums of all time, the importance and power of ‘Never Mind the Bollocks’ can not be disputed. There was nothing like it before (or since). The original US version was also re-issued on vinyl by Rhino on October 21st 2008. 2012 saw the album remastered and re-issued by Universal Music Catalogue UK on CD, deluxe 2 CD, super-deluxe 4 disc box set and double vinyl LP. A smaller version of the 2012 super-deluxe box set, with the same tracklisting, was released in 2017 for the 40th anniversary of ‘NMTB‘.

Disc 2 is Live in Trondheim July 21st, 1977. Its off the soundboard. Sounds much better than that '76 UK show that's been reissued a zillion times. You can totally hear Sid's bass. Turns out he could play a few notes after all. Highly recommended.

Sex Pistols announce details of 35th Anniversary ‘Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols’ super deluxe box set to be released September 24th through Universal Music UK. As one of the most iconic and influential albums in music history ‘Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols’ still sounds as powerful and unique as ever, 35 years since the original release. As such an important musical and cultural force the album changed the landscape for records and the music industry. The Sex Pistols defined a generation and captured a feeling within the nation that simply no one else could.

The Sex Pistols brief visit to the club Kåren, Stockholm, Sweden. Two gigs, Wednesday July 27, 1977 for people over 23 years, and Thursday July 28 for people over 15 years of age. Director: Mr. Östlund. The Sex Pistols eventually arrived in Stockholm to do two short gigs. Eleven songs in all. Sveriges Radio recorded the second show, July 28, and Neonmagasinet a report with interviews of fans of punk music.

The Bill Grundy interview and debut single Anarchy In The UK broke them nationally in November 1976, but made them a trifle unpopular with authority types. As a consequence, most of the the 'Anarchy In The UK' punk package tour was cancelled, the single was withdrawn (it eventually scraped into the Top 40), and in January EMI sacked the Pistols. Though historically of less importance than the debut album, The Great Rock N Roll Swindle - which came out in February 1979 - is a great album. A double set, it was released in two formats a year before the film of the same name. Studenter Samfundet, Trondheim, Norway.
