Weedpecker was born in Warsaw circa 2012, when the Dobry bros. Wyro and Bandos) decided to match their dreamy psychedelic rock tunes with some stoner heavy grungy riffin. oon joined Pan Falon as drummer who plays also for ultraslow doomers Belzebong. After the summer of 2012 the lineup was completed with the Spanish bassist Jeso, who was earlier in some extreme acts like Looking For An Answer and Antigama.

Complete your Weedpecker collection. Great album, but unfortunately not great vinyl (2nd Press on 180g translucent blue vinyl). While the album looks to be in mint shape, unfortunately there's a warp/defect on the outer first centimeter of the record that causes the first track on both sides to skip. This isn't just a scratch, I can actually see the tonearm jump as it tries to track through this pressing defect. Very disappointing, as this is such a good album, but this defect effectively renders the disc unplayable.

Weedpecker self-released their Self-Titled debut album last year and it’s a beast, sounding a lot like Alice in Chains recording an album with Sleep and Black Sabbath as members of the band. Opening with the six-minute Berenjena Pipe the nature of Weedpecker becomes absolutely evident in the dissonant feedback loops that loom in the background, fading and erupting out of the distortion and chaos.
