Tales from the Damned. Commissioned for Cleopatra, Tales from the Damned is a detailed, thorough and fantastic sounding collection with fine liner notes to boot. Three cuts - the hilarious rip into "Disco Man," an anti-holiday standard, "There Ain't No Sanity Clause" and a live version of "Looking At You" - had received the digital treatment before.

The Damned are an English rock band formed in London in 1976. They were the first punk rock band from the United Kingdom to release a single ("New Rose"), an album (Damned Damned Damned), to have a record on the UK music charts, and to tour the United States. The Damned later evolved into one of t. ore . Year: 1993. Style:MLA Chicago APA. "Tales from the Damned Album.
Tales from the Damned is one of them. The cd first track "Burglar" a b-side from the Algy Ward days is a true punk classic, with its sore throated Algy or Captian vocal(I don't know which) and thundering drums . The fact the album comes with more songs is simply a bonus. Burglar is a fun b-side with the raspy vocals of Mr. Rat Scabies. Looking At You is a great song and this a strong live performance. Sanity Clause is the usual Damned mayhem with xmas bells!
In 1977, their debut Damned, Damned, Damned proved to mark them as one of the preceding fathers of punk rock. It fit all the credentials as to what the criteria of punk required- Lots of distortion, snarling vocals, wit, political criticism, and most of all, simplicity and fury. At just over the thirty minute mark, Damned Damned Damned was supplied brevity with all the fire and filth you would expect from lower class British kids. Sounds annoying" Good, because that is exactly the intention that the trio put into the making of this record. As a bass player, he is more than adequate, but really does not get the limelight that you’d expect from the introductory song to the album. Neat Neat Neat is punk’s very first explosion of sneering bass, which is backed by a volatile flare-up from the rest of the band.
