The Fortune Teller’s Gaze has been rerecorded to reflect the current lineup and true sound of Wind Wraith and is set to be re-released in the early spring of 2004. The band is currently writing material for a second album, tentatively titled Minions of Metal, and looks to create an even more dynamic and aggressive sound. As always, the march for metal continues. The album is a wild ride of mixed melodies and catchy harmonies that will leaving you humming the songs long after the album has finished. Nice performance, lacking originality - 65%. Benign Hypocrite, October 15th, 2006. I found ths album somewhere tucked away in my closet and i was curious what was stored in it. Wind Wraith is one of these new US power metal bands with many elements from the 80’s metal scene but they have not new, original tunes to offer. Mediocrity is the only word that characterizes this album. It’s easy to understand their influences by Running Wild, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica and the whole 80’s metal style in every song.
