Bungle is the debut studio album by American experimental rock band Mr. It was released on August 13, 1991, through Warner Bros. The album contains many genre shifts which are typical of the band, and helped increase the band's popularity, gaining them a cult following. The album cover features artwork by Dan Sweetman, originally published in the story, "A Cotton Candy Autopsy" in the DC Comics/Piranha Press imprint title Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children.
Bungle’s self titled studio debut is an album that combines elements of jazz and metal with hints of ska. They also take largely from the atmosphere of a circus, using brass and organs in their songs. The album features two songs previously on their tapes before getting licensed with Warner Brothers, being Carousel and Egg. Mr. Bungle was able to get a record label with Warner Brothers due to one factor, and that was Mike Patton’s inclusion in Faith No More.

Of the six tracks aboard, four are almost nearly completed tracks from the first album which include: Squeeze Me Macaroni, Slowly Growing Deaf, The Girls Of Porn and Love Is A Fist. The remaining two tracks consist of the opening OHUE818 which is a snazzy little intro with Patton emulating a radio DJ talking shit about the new demo and dissing the Van Halen album that was current with electronic music sputtering on in the background.
