The Symphony No. 9 in E minor, "From the New World", Op. 95, B. 178 (Czech: Symfonie č. 9 e moll „Z nového světa ), popularly known as the New World Symphony, was composed by Antonín Dvořák in 1893 while he was the director of the National Conservatory of Music of America from 1892 to 1895. It is by far his most popular symphony, and one of the most popular of all symphonies.
Dvorák: Symphony N. in C Minor, O., . - "The Bells of Zlonice" - 4. Finale (Allegro animato). 5. 30. Dvorák: Symphony N. in B Flat Major, O. 2 - 1. Allegro con moto. One odd observation: Symphony No. 7, 3rd mvt, seems to have a couple of spots where the audio goes dead, the 1st beginning at 1:50 into the track and ending at 3:01. Since my copy of this CD was positively confirmed with the Accurate Rip database, I think the error is inherent to the master itself. If so, it is a sad blemish on an otherwise wonderful recording.
