Dreamweaver (Reflections of Our Yesterdays) (1989) is Sabbat’s second album. A poetic-visionary exploration of Anglo-Saxon paganism, Dreamweaver is a concept album. The lyrics, based on Brian Bates’s novel The Way of Wyrd, trace a Christian missionary’s journey into the heathen heart of Southern England, and the changes it brings about within him. Written by the band’s singer Martin Walkyier, they are arguably among the most sophisticated not only in the thrash sub-genre, but in metal as a whole. Dreamweaver Q&A. Kamikaze Splitting Roar.
